pious ways of being

1/ Mama Ganga // India

We are around 8 billion on Earth. 1,5 are "Chinese", about the same number of "Indians", mostly hindus. Just consider it.
The Holi festival that marks the beginning of the "spring" and the period of "fertility", to be short, is an equivalent to occidental Easter (which evolved - through Judaism - from celebrations of Ishtar etc since the Sumer...). Feel this //indo-european// link. Feel the "pagany" of Christian AllSaints, Xmas and Easter. Read Lévi-Strauss. Think of sedentary / nature-domestication economics - as opposed to nomadic / hunter-gather, - season-dependent, stock/capital - producing, hierarchy generating, social classes emerging...

We are all unique, yet we all are siblings - genetical and cultural.

Love & peace.

2/ fixing destinies

Botkinskaya Hospital, Moscow
Their work is to fix humans. They work here, they sleep here, they literally spend their whole lives in this hospital. They cope with greatest stress & responsibility challenges. It's a vocation. A dedication. The highest altruism. Though, they follow ambition. Selfish while self-giving.

3/ Alpine zen

Ascent & descent.

Mountaineering and climbing - is it all about conquering summits, proving your courage, raising your adrenaline? Or maybe such an adventure is about reconnecting to the wild nature? To our wild and harsh survival nature? Is it about finding friends - wherever they come from - who you choose to trust with your very life ?
In mountains, the frontier between "us" and "them", between "culture" and "nature" is temptingly blurry.
